Motherhood Isn’t Just a Number

If you ask a mother how many children she has, she will likely give you a number without hesitation.

But if you look closely into her eyes as she answers, you may notice something deeper — something unspoken. Because for some mothers, the number they say out loud is not the only number they carry in their hearts.

Motherhood is not only about the babies we get to raise, the birthdays we celebrate, or the milestones we proudly share on social media. It is also about the ones we had to let go too soon.
