Fox News host\u00a0Greg Gutfeld\u00a0<\/strong>has opened up about life at home with a new baby as he returned to screens for the first time in weeks after spending 46 days settling into his new role as a father at\u00a0his $10.5 million New York City apartment.<\/p>\n

Gutfeld, 60, who appears on two\u00a0Fox News shows\u2014\u201dThe Five\u201d and late night comedy show, \u201cGutfeld!\u201d\u2014candidly admitted that much of the burden of caring for his newborn daughter has fallen to his wife,\u00a0Elena Moussa<\/strong>, 42, because he is \u201cterrible at everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

The on-air star announced that he and his spouse had welcomed their first child,\u00a0Mira<\/strong>, together in December, ending weeks of speculation and worry surrounding his seemingly mysterious disappearance from their screens.<\/p>\n

At the time, he released a short statement about the birth, saying: \u201cIt is with great joy that my wife Elena and I have welcomed a baby girl into the world. Mira is healthy with a real set of lungs.\u201d<\/p>\n

He then joked that his baby girl has his wife\u2019s \u201cbeautiful eyes\u201d and his \u201crock-hard abs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, he\u2019s continuing to inject some humor into his portrayal of parenthood, confessing during his Monday appearance on \u201cThe Five\u201d that while he wife spent time doing late night feeds and changing diapers at their\u00a0Manhattan\u00a0home, he offered \u201cemotional support.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI kind of wander around and go, \u2018Is everything okay?\u2019\u201d he said when asked by co-host\u00a0Dana Perino\u00a0<\/strong>whether he was helping with \u201cthe 2 a.m. feeds.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI give emotional support, but you know, Elena is kind of, like, pretty hands-on and keeps me away from it. She said to me that I\u2019m terrible at everything, like, she says, I\u2019m very clumsy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gutfeld\u2019s co-host\u00a0Jesse Watters\u00a0<\/strong>then questioned what he had been doing during the 46 days of paternity leave that he took, prompting the new dad to confess that he had \u201cwatched everything [\u201cYellowstone\u201d creator]\u00a0Taylor Sheridan<\/strong>\u00a0has ever put out.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0TV<\/span><\/a> star did do one key thing to prepare for his expanded family: acquiring a stunning new home where he and Moussa can raise their child.<\/p>\n

Property records reveal that the TV host purchased a $10.5 million loft in the upscale neighborhood of SoHo in July, making the deal via the same LLC that he used in the purchase of his former New York home.<\/p>\n

Located in a 1900s-era, six-story building, which recently underwent a luxury conversion by architect DXA Studio. The condo offers 3,560 square feet of living space.<\/p>\n

The unit previously changed hands in 2021 for $8,550,000\u2014and its listing photos reveal a sweet space already set up to serve as a child\u2019s bedroom.<\/p>\n

Despite snapping up a stunning new abode, Gutfeld appears to have retained his former New York residence, a three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment just a stone\u2019s throw from his new dwelling.<\/p>\n

Rather than put that home on the market, he instead chose to list it for rent for a whopping $24,000 a month back in September\u2014with the listing coming down just days later, suggesting it had already found a new tenant.<\/p>\n

That property spanned 2,200 square feet\u2014meaning that his new home offers more than 1,000 square feet in additional living space, ideal for all of the baby items Gutfeld and Moussa will no doubt be using these days.<\/p>\n

And should they wish to escape life in the city, the couple can escape to upstate New York\u2019s South Salem area, where Gutfeld purchased a lake house in 2018.<\/p>\n

Occasionally, the popular host will share an image of the contemporary wood-and-glass build on\u00a0social media, although the majority of his Instagram posts focus on the couple\u2019s beloved French bulldog,\u00a0Gus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Gutfeld and Moussa, who married in 2004, met in Portugal while he was an editor at Maxim UK and she was a photo editor for Maxim Russia.<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0Bill Maher\u00a0<\/strong>on the \u201cClub Random\u201d podcast, Gutfeld recalled their first meeting.<\/p>\n

He knew from the start that the two of them were destined to end up together, he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI met her and I go, \u2018Oh, that\u2019s my wife.\u2019 I just knew it,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd then I spent three days in Portugal trying to talk to her.\u201d<\/p>\n
