Born Carole Enwright on August 25, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, she grew up surrounded by the energy and fantasy of old Hollywood.<\/p>\n

Even as a teenager, Carrie was drawn to beauty, fashion, and creativity. She attended Hollywood High School, where she studied art and drama, quietly building the confidence that would later help her thrive in front of cameras and behind the scenes in the entertainment world. Like many young women trying to find their place in Los Angeles during the early 1960s, Carrie worked a variety of jobs to support herself.<\/p>\n

She reportedly worked as a theater cashier, commercial artist, and model while pursuing cosmetology training. At just 19 years old, Carrie Enwright was chosen as Playboy magazine\u2019s Playmate of the Month for July 1963.<\/p>\n
