About Her And His Fiancee, Patty Rich Amid His Death\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEver since I met this lovely lady we have had some great times, but Fourth of Julys have been so fun for us and a great time for us to be together,\u201d Sheets captioned a July 2022 Instagram post of the pair on a boat.<\/p>\n<p>Sheets was previously engaged to Romney Snyder, whom he credited with supporting him after he suffered a heart attack in 2019. \u201cAll your prayers would be deeply appreciated\u2026 Romney has been by my side through all of this. She is a good woman and I love her,\u201d he wrote at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Sheets was found dead in his Arizona home from an apparent suicide around 2 a.m. local time on April 22. According to a press release from the Lake Havasu City Police Department, officers responded to \u201ca reported deceased individual\u201d and discovered the reality star at the scene. He was pronounced dead on scene.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/akns-images.eonline.com\/eol_images\/Entire_Site\/20260501\/9b0e2271-bc57-4398-b1f2-54a64fa922d5_1777659042.jpg?fit=around%7C1024:759&amp;output-quality=90&amp;crop=1024:759;center,top\" alt=\"Darrell Sheets' Ex-Wife Breaks Silence on His Death\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Authorities said the incident remains under investigation and asked anyone with information to contact the Lake Havasu City Police Department at 928-855-1171. Sgt. Kyle Ridgway also told that investigators are looking into cyberbullying allegations raised by Sheets\u2019 Storage Wars costar Ren\u00e9 Nezhoda.<\/p>\n<p>In an April 22 Instagram post, Nezhoda claimed that someone had been \u201creally, really tormenting [Sheets] lately\u201d and \u201ccyberbullying\u201d him.\u201cYou never know what demons somebody faces and what they go through and what you might push them through,\u201d Nezhoda said. \u201cI also highly encourage law enforcement \u2014 Darrell has been posting a lot about the guy that has been cyberbullying and torturing him, and I really hope they look into that guy, and that\u2019s just not a pass. Because it\u2019s just not right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nezhoda also reflected on their relationship, noting that while fans often believed they were rivals, they remained in touch. \u201cWe talked every now and then,\u201d he said. \u201cHe was a very hard worker that cared more than anyone I\u2019ve ever met about their family \u2014 about his son, about Zoe [his granddaughter], pretty much [all the] people in his life.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"eyeo\" data-type=\"_mgwidget\" data-widget-id=\"1785005\" data-uid=\"12d71\" data-src-id=\"${PUBLISHER_ID}\">\n<div id=\"mgw1785005_12d71\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Sheets was best known for his 163-episode run on A&amp;E\u2019s Storage Wars, which follows professional buyers bidding on abandoned storage units.
