Starring\u00a0Michael Weatherly\u00a0and Cote de Pablo as the beloved duo, the 10-episode\u00a0NCIS<\/em>\u00a0spinoff follows the pair as they are forced on the run after being framed for a worldwide cyberattack. Tony and Ziva race across Europe, fighting to clear their names while protecting their daughter Tali (Isla Gie) from impending danger.<\/p>\n

It turns out the attack revolves around a powerful tech known as 9.4, created by hacker Boris (Maximilian Osinski) and orchestrated by Interpol agents Jonah Markham (Julian Ovenden) and Martine Aranow (Nassima Benchicou).<\/p>\n

As the season draws to a close, things get worse when Tali is kidnapped by Jonah. This pushes Tony and Ziva to risk everything in order to save her and finally put an end to the conspiracy.<\/p>\n

Of course they do.<\/p>\n

The finale picks up with Tony and Ziva working with their team to rescue Tali from Jonah, who had her abducted in the penultimate episode. Before long, the big bad calls the duo and tells them to meet him at the compound of Aaron Graves (Sean Pertwee), who Martine killed in the previous episode.<\/p>\n

Martine, spurned after being betrayed by Jonah, decides to help Tony and Ziva. She assists Sophie (Lara Rossi), Claudette (Amita Suman), and Boris behind the scenes as Tony and Ziva confront Jonah and the nefarious plans he has for Reigning Fire.<\/p>\n

The team eventually converges at the compound and a massive shootout ensues. Despite the danger, they manage to save Tali.<\/p>\n

How do Tony and Ziva stop Jonah Markham?<\/span><\/h2>\n

With their daughter safe, Tony and Ziva make a run through Graves\u2019 gardens, taking down Jonah\u2019s men along the way. Amid the action, they argue over whether Jonah needs to be killed; Ziva insists it\u2019s the only way for them to be safe, while Tony says they can live life on the run.<\/p>\n

As Tony and Ziva go back and forth, they notice a pattern in the garden statues tied to Reigning Fire\u2019s weapons, which helps them crack Graves\u2019 vault.<\/p>\n

Code in hand, they head back to Jonah, ready to use it to manipulate him. But before they can open the vault, Jonah\u2019s guards show up with Martine, Claudette, and Sophie. Meanwhile, Tali and Boris sneak out through the underground tunnels, heading back to the compound to try and save who they can.<\/p>\n

When the vault finally opens, it reveals a massive server room controlling Reigning Fire\u2019s drones, the key to Jonah\u2019s vision of world domination. What he doesn\u2019t know, though, is that Boris and Claudette hacked 9.4 and redirected the drones onto Jonah himself.<\/p>\n

When Jonah plugs his drive into the server, the drones immediately lock onto him. They are now programmed to capture him alive, but if he resists (which he does), all bets are off.<\/p>\n

Jonah escapes and speeds off in a bright yellow Jeep with Tali hiding in the back. Tony and Ziva hop into another Jeep, resulting in a high-speed chase. Tony manages to leap onto Jonah\u2019s car, rescue Tali, and stop the villain. Tali kicks Jonah a few times before Martine arrives to take him away.<\/p>\n

The best part? Boris shuts down 9.4 for good.<\/p>\n

Is Jonah Markham dead?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Yes, it appears that Jonah is dead by the end of\u00a0Tony & Ziva\u00a0<\/em>season 1. Martine gets a call from the prison\u2019s chief of security who tells her that Jonah has died in an apparent suicide.<\/p>\n

However, it\u2019s all pretty suspicious. Martine knows details about the incident (like the involvement of bed sheets) that only someone on the inside could know. Martine had previously been open about her desire to take down Jonah, so there\u2019s certainly a chance she may have ordered someone to kill him and stage it to look like a suicide.<\/p>\n

Do Tony and Ziva get back together?<\/span><\/h2>\n

We soon return to Salus Mondiale, where Claudette and Sophie tell Tony that they\u2019re planning to move in together. Boris then arrives and says his \u201chappily ever after\u201d is over.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the season, fans watched as Boris and Fruzsi Gortva (Anne-Marie Waldeck) got married. Sadly, it turns out Fruzsi was a con artist who stole Boris\u2019s money and ghosted him. The three comfort Boris, and Tony reassures him that he\u2019ll \u201calways have a job here at Salus Mondiale.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then comes the moment #Tiva fans have been waiting for: Tony and Ziva are getting back together! In the final moments of the season 1 finale, they tell Tali that they want to start dating again, and she supports their decision.<\/p>\n

Before they head out on a date, Ziva gifts Tony a photo of his late friend Henry (James D\u2019Arcy) and Tali smiling together. They share a kiss, and the episode ends with a sweet montage of their best moments from the season.<\/p>\n
