Rumer Willis<\/a><\/strong> is giving insight into Bruce Willis<\/a><\/strong>\u2018 health journey.<\/p>\n

During a recent Q&A on her Instagram Stories<\/a>,<\/u> the Rumer Has It founder was asked how her father is doing amid his ongoing battle with frontotemporal dementia (FTD)<\/a>, which the Die Hard<\/em> actor\u2014who shares Rumer, Scout Willis<\/strong>, 34, and Tallulah Willis<\/strong>, 31, with ex-wife Demi Moore<\/a><\/strong>\u2014was diagnosed with three years ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople always ask me this question and I think it\u2019s kind of a hard one to answer, because the truth is that anybody with FDT is not doing great,\u201d Rumer replied in a Nov. 20 video, \u201cbut he\u2019s doing OK in terms of somebody who is dealing with frontotemporal dementia.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only way I feel like I could answer that in a way that\u2019s like he\u2019s doing great\u2026 how do I say this?\u201d she continued. \u201cIt\u2019s like those parameters don\u2019t really work anymore in my mind, so this is an interesting question.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ultimately, the 37-year-old\u2014who shares daughter Louetta Willis<\/strong>, 2, with ex Derek Thomas<\/strong>\u2014is thankful to still have her father in her life, even if there are occasions during which he doesn\u2019t recognize her.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe answer that I would give is that I\u2019m so happy and grateful that I still get to go and hug him,\u201d she explained. \u201cI\u2019m so grateful that when I go over there and give him a hug whether he recognizes me or not that he can feel the love I\u2019ve given him, and I can feel it back from him. That I still see a spark of him and he can feel the love that I\u2019m giving and so that feels really nice.\u201d<\/p>\n
