\ud83d\ude35When my daughter had a son, I was overjoyed. But that joy quickly turned into worry: she had a demanding job that required her constant presence, and she couldn\u2019t take a proper maternity leave.<\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t leave the baby without care \u2014 I gladly agreed to help. Every day at eight in the morning, I would come to her house and stay with the baby until evening.<\/p>\n

I bathed him, fed him, rocked him to sleep, did the laundry, the ironing board became my best friend, and daily walks \u2014 a ritual.<\/p>\n

Everything went on as usual until one day everything changed.<\/p>\n

That day, tired after a long walk, I decided to have a snack. I opened the fridge, took some cheese and an apple. But then I heard something unexpected from my daughter:<\/p>\n
