Kelly Clarkson is getting candid about her weight loss transformation that everyone has noticed. The singer revealed that she had some help with her weight loss. Before this revelation, she had largely stayed quiet about it!<\/p>\n

In a recent episode of her show, \u201cThe Kelly Clarkson Show,\u201d the singer had Whoopi Goldberg<\/a> on as a guest. And Goldberg discussed her experience with using weight loss drugs. To this, Clarkson jumped in with her own experience.<\/p>\n

Clarkson told Goldberg and the audience that she had not really intended to share this information about her life. Then she revealed that she had been prescribed some weight loss medication after she had some abnormalities appear in her bloodwork.<\/p>\n

She told the crowd, \u201cMine is a different one than people assume, but I ended up having to do that, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on, \u201cMy doctor chased me for like 2 years. And I was like, \u2018No, I\u2019m afraid of it. I already have thyroid problems.\u2019 Everybody thinks it\u2019s Ozempic, it\u2019s not. It\u2019s something else. It\u2019s something that aids in helping break down the sugar. My body doesn\u2019t do it right.\u201d<\/p>\n

This revelation comes after Clarkson had previously said that her weight loss was due to living a more active lifestyle in New York City<\/a> and eating a protein-heavy diet. But it seems that was not the whole picture.<\/p>\n

During Monday\u2019s episode, Kelly revealed how it was a concert that gave her a wakeup call. She said she did not recognize herself when she saw the footage of her L.A. show, saying that in the video, she was at 203 pounds, which had been her heaviest.<\/p>\n

Clarkson joins the ranks of many other celebrities who have recently revealed that they have been taking weight loss medication to lose weight. Other stars like Oprah, Rebel Wilson, Heather Gay, and more have revealed that they have done something similar.<\/p>\n
